Deleting your data
Three ways, depending on what you want gone — and one thing a request deliberately leaves alone.
From Facebook
Open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites on Facebook, find Mira, and choose Remove. Tick the option to delete your data and Facebook tells us straight away. We delete the connection — the access tokens, the ad account and Page you chose, and the record of who authorised it — and hand back a confirmation code. Keep that code: pasting it into the box on the page Facebook sends you to shows what happened and when.
From Mira
Signed in, open an event, switch to Connectors, and pressDisconnect on the platform. That destroys the stored tokens immediately. It leaves the campaigns your organisation wrote, because they belong to the organisation rather than to your platform login.
By email
Write to jorge@giantsteps.co from the address you want removed, and say what you want deleted: your Mira account, your connection to an ad platform, or — if you are a ticket buyer — your record in an organisation's customer list. We answer within 30 days, and normally within two working days.
What a platform deletion request does not touch
The events, campaigns, budgets and customer lists belonging to the organisation you worked with. Those are the organisation's records, not your personal data, and one person disconnecting a Facebook account is not a reason to erase a company's work. If you are asking on behalf of the organisation, say so and we will delete the account and everything in it.
Checking a request
A deletion made through Facebook comes back with a confirmation code. Open /legal/data-deletion/<code> — or follow the link Facebook shows you — to see the status of that request.
